Yes. Generally speaking you have to look for photos that are taken about 2-3 stories above ground level. As you said, if the major objects in the photos are far away, then it doesn't matter as much.

Mark, I'm going to try and do what you suggested - match the field to the photo texture/granularity. My gut feel is the entire picture will then not be clear - thus many will not like the result, but it will be an interesting investigation.

Teflon, I know, spent countless hours looking for backgrounds that matched his fields in both texture and angle. That is certainly the most time consuming part of the project.
