I rather see a tight race heading into the last week of baseball, then a division thats pretty much locked up already.
Ofcourse, I still want the Yankees to pull through at the end

I'll tell you the problems with the Red Sox:
1)no (and I mean no) leadership in clubhouse since Mo and Johnny V left.
2) the green monster (turns alot of home runs into singles, turns alot of outs into home runs) and we all know what wins in October. My point is the ball park is conducive to Earl Weaver style management of waiting for the 3 run homer. This current squad was built for small ball and manufacturing runs.
3) No one can come through with a clutch hit (oh except Benny Agbayani). Nomar has like 120 ribbies this year and I can't remember a really clutch hit.
4) Stupid management for decades. We could have had Sosa for Trot Nixon 3 years ago, straight up!!!
5) We have the worst bullpen in baseball.
6) We compete in the same division as the best ballclub and tradition of all time.
7) They have never had a manager who likes to play small ball (ie: hit and run, sacrifice bunting, stealing)
8) This is the 2nd manager in a row that the players do not respect.
I could go on for quite some time, but I will spare you all.
