God I hate Arbitration

I just posted about wonderful MR arbitration logic, now a great one for my 2B. H e dropped talent in 3 categories, went from hitting .278/.778 OPS to .236/.646 OPS, and so I expected his 3.6 mil arbitration award to go down. His estimate last year and after arbitration this year was 670,000... so you'd think he'd get somewhere around that in arbitration.

But no, he gets 3.6 million again. The game apparently doesn't believe in pay cuts for players who lose their ability. On further review, this happens to most any player who signs a real contract then still has arbitration years left after it (their pay stays the same), but the fact that it happens for players on arbitration the whole time is more disturbing. Isn't this what arbitration is for, to adjust a player's salary to their ability? If I wanted a long term contract, I'd sign one.

Does OOTP 6 need more beta testers?
