The revised ratings required me to mess with league totals a bit to get things where I want them. It's interesting...league numbers are where I would like them, but the peaks in both pitching and hitting are high. League BA is .255-.260, but leaders (Ted Williams, Cobb, Hornsby, etc.) are around .365-.390. Yet pitching ERA leaders dip under 2 (Grove, Dean, Koufax, Hubbell).
I'm probably trying to get too precise for a roster that's merging eras.
Younger players are performing better sooner now with ratings adjustments, giving guys who started in the 80s better chances at good careers than before.
I have Japanese players in there for the draft now, but it's just the names at this point. I need to do the ratings, but probably won't hold off the beta for that. I also need to add more Negro League pitchers to the draft class as well. Again, I probably won't hold off beta for that.
