I figured it was something like that. It must be a really new motherboard, as I would've thought they'd carry both kinds of connections for a little while; plus don't the CD and DVD drives still connect to IDE ports?

I'm dreading when it's time to finally replace my system, as I'm going to have to hit the computer tech web sites again and begin learning all the latest developments.
