Thanks, BigCity.
Thanks for the tour...really enjoyed it.
Thanks for the stadium...I'll see how it looks in the game.
This is a fine ballpark...hope to visit it one day.
Minor League Baseball is my favorite...the Majors have priced themselves out of my league...$100 to $150 a game for two people is totally outrageous.
But when the misguided owners are willing to give players $15 million a year...and none...absolutely none of them are worth it...this is the way it will be.
I'll take a minor league game anyday...saw the Oneonta Tigers and the Auburn Doubledays this past summer...great game...saw the Boise Hawks and Eugene Emeralds several years ago. (great hamburgers and hot dogs hot off a steaming grill with grilled onions and peppers and only about $2-$3 each...cokes were $1.50...tickets $5-$6...parking $2 (see what it would cost at the Ballpark at Arlington where they charge you $8 to park and then you have to walk a mile to the stadium...it cost about $150 for the two of us)..the Ft. Worth Cats and San Angelo Colts at beautiful new LaGrave Field in Fort Worth...cost about $20 for two...the Baton Rouge Blue Marlins and the Montgomery Wings at a gorgeous old stadium Patterson Field in Montgomery...and the Birmingham Barons and Huntsville Stars in a retro game at the Rickwood Classic played each year in Birmingham at the oldest minor league park in the country...Rickwood is the stadium where the movie "Cobb" was shot.
