I think as a voter, one should vote for the logo they would most likely to use if he or she had a team named XXX. If there was a definite guide line for a perfect logo, then where's the fun? Every logo would look the exact same way. What makes art and humanity in general interesting is diversity.

I just might have to alter some of my thoughts about logos.
I also didn't realize that a lot of baseball logos don't have any overt connection to the sport...never really noticed it...I just thought most of them did...it looks like I was wrong.
