I completely agree. And honestly, I've been a TWB Tigers fan since the 20s. That team had some god-awful pitching though. Floyd Bettles was IT. With Andrew, Ulrich and Wolfe, this team has incredible potential. Not winning a pennant this year would be unbearable and almost certainly cost Killbreath his job. And let's not forget that Arden pitched for that failed would-be dynasty from 1928-33.
Teams like the Yanks, A's and Indians are slowing turning into great teams. I'd hate to be a fan of the White Sox, Red Sox, Browns or Senators, because it looks like DET, NYA, PHA and CLE could dominate the AL for 15 years.
