This is a great project...what a set of logos this is gonna be.

And to my "no longer anonymous" and extremely fine committee members that help select the cities and nicknames...knuckler and DreamTeams.
The easy part is now over...designing and creating the logos...now the talented and skilled critics have to do the tough and challenging work of choosing just one of these.
It was a tough job...but somebody has to do it.
2,5,6, 8, and 9 are excellent....
I chose 9...it has the feel of the sun and climate (I spent a very long August to October at Lackland AFB in 1958)...and it will really show up well in the game...which is a must for me.
