The age modifications have been completed and things look much better.

Also, I have it statistically looking like 80s baseball as I wanted...I am not, however, trying to artificially steer it toward remaining that way as the league would progress. I just wanted it starting in an 80s type environment, and right now it looks great in that regard.

I have league totals within 2% of real MLB figures for the decade, though ERAs remain a little high. The biggest reason for this is the weakness of the more recent teams, which are trotting out 20 year old starting pitchers yet to reach potential in pretty much every slot. Arizona (the Colorado, Tampa, Floria, Arizona conglomeration) has loads of potential, but for the first season getting them to play better than .300 ball will be a challenge. Other more recent teams like the Expos, Blue Jays, Mariners and Padres also struggle to start, though the Jays seem closest of the 4 to respectability. Unfortunately for them, they play in the toughest division, with the Yanks, Boston, Washington (the Negro League/Japanese team), Detroit, Cleveland and Baltimore...6 very solid franchises that have the Jays starting from a distinct disadvantage.

Adding to the list of things I need to look for are pitcher roles being altered since the transfer from OOTP5. Seems a few odd relievers are sneaking into the rotations. Not a big deal.

Also had to fix a problem where RHB or LHB ratings for some pitchers got transposed with TALENT ratings. This has been fixed.

You can see the rosters Here

Please keep in mind a) there's more to do, b) the nature of the set is such that old-time players are older and guys get progressively younger as we get to more recent times. So when Roger Clemens and Pedro Martinez are in the minors for the Red Sox to start, that's why. It's also why ratings for some old, old time guys (like Cap Anson) are well lower than their peaks...they are past their prime (Anson is 37, for example). Cy Young has been fixed, so don't be perplexed to see him in the Sox bullpen, though the first year could be his last as a starter depending on the game's player progression.

As always, questions or comments are appreciated.
