This is yet another ad for the EL/SA combination of the old Class A structure from the '40's -

We are about to start off-season activities tomorrow.
We have recently filled our Birmingham, Albany, and Little Rock Openings with solid dedicated owners, but we still have openings in Memphis and Mobile.
The first seven seasons were computer simmed to provide some history and allow the financial model to settle. We use a Catobase to lend to the history and realism. The financial model is a challenge, but I find it fun in certain aspects. It will make you think and act more like an old time minors manager on a limited budget!
History of the franchises and returning player breakdowns are available at

Here is some information about the open squads. The Coaches/Scouts period will commence tomorrow and run through Saturday.
Mobile (60-78, Tie-6th in the Southern Association) - Minor League system: 15th. #8 in attendance, could increase $8 ticket to gain additional revenues. Will have $9.9M to spend on coaches and free agents after a cash adjustment that will be performed on the league file and will be reflected in it by 6:30PM EST on Monday the 24th.
Memphis (72-66, Tie-3rd in the Southern Association) - Minor League system: 11th. LF Claude MacFarlane signed through 1950 at $5.55M, Career OPS: 1.074

Memphis has $0 to spend on coaches and free agents, but greater revenues and better players. Can still make $200K qualifying offers on coaches.
We hold live sims every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The sim schedule is an alternating 7/8/7 and 8/7/8 schedule to facilitate better use of the DL and make sure owners don't feel rushed.
Please E-mail me at the address below if interested! It would be great to have you be a part of the league as we move forward into 1946!
