Well, if you want a lower OBP, lower SLG, and therefore, lower OPS, then sure, Ichiro is better than Abreu. I think Ichiro is a great player, but if I could take him or Abreu. They're close to the same age. Abreu has more power, walks more, and has plenty of speed. He has the arm to play RF, and he could probably play CF, if needed. Personally, I'd take both if I could (well, and if a few other players weren't available) and put Ichiro in CF and Abreu in RF.
