Well, I played until the end of June last night...the most miserable month I have ever played. I have the 3rd best offense and my pitching is dead last in every category, although I have one guy that is 11-4 and and is high on the k list. When I lost my 10th in a row, I couldn't take it anymore and simmed the remaining week, watching my team lose another 4 to make it 14 in a row. I have 3 games left in the month and I'm 20 games under .500 now, and dead last out of 10 teams and the owner mood is in the 30's. I wound up making 4 trades before retiring for the night and basically got rid of my entire pitching staff except for my ace and my closer. I picked up two 4-5-star prospects at ss and 2nd and a power hitting 3rd baseman currently hitting .345. I'm hoping the 4 SP prospects I have in double-A will hurry up and mature so that I can give them a shot next year. I called up my triple-A pitchers and signed the 2 highest rating free agent MR to fill in the holes on the active roster. I'm probably guaranteed to lose 3 out of 4 until the end of the year now, but I'm going to try to avoid being fired to see all my prospects become stars and lead the team to championships.
