I'd like to be a complete homer now and say I think Morris Lutske was robbed for Player of the Month. He hit freaking .500, with 55 hits, 12 doubles, and 30 runs coming off a really bad injury which knocked his contact level down a notch. I realize Kress had a great month with the .388 and 11 homers, but throw us pesky shortstops a bone here.

It's too bad he likely won't qualify for the batting title. He has a near 40 point lead...
