Pedro had an MRI, his shoulder is fine. I'm sure there is some wear and tear but not like the "90% torn labrum" that Gammons first reported then backed away from.

I don't know what can be expected from Smoltz. How many pitchers have made that kind of switch at 38?

I'd be more inclined to say Pedro = Hudson and Smoltz = Glavine. Heck, you couls say the entire starting staffs are a wash.
