This is going to take a lot of research and reading, which is why I'm handling the negro leaguers last. I want to get these guys as well rated as I can, but they were used in a lot more different positions than early major leaguers were used. Rating them accurately will take a bit of time, but with info I have and resources guys here have referred me to, I should be able to do it pretty well.
A great site is blackbaseball.com...for the bios, they give "comparable players" It's a good guideline.
