Agree with you. With the current playoff format and balanced schedules, there's really no reason to have more than 2 divisions per league, since there are only 2 first round bye's in the playoffs.

Round 5 did revert back to the serpentine draft. So it was just round 4 where the teams picking in the first half during round 1 are getting the extra round/advantage.
