Thanks for the reply. PC specs are in the first post. I followed your suggestions and the UI is now noticeably more responsive, though it still feels slow. Also seems to get worse the longer the game...

Yeh, I just let the AI do the minor league hiring. Unless you're looking at their ratings you're going to screw it up anyway since the AI knows the ratings and hires accordingly.

It's not hard to figure out roughly what they're going to ask for. I haven't actually did the math but it's usually like 10-20% more than whatever your default offer is on the arbitration screen.
