Fictional League with real MLB Players?

I'm sure this has been asked many times before.
What is procedure to set up a small fictional league 16 - 20 teams,
using real MLB players. I would like to do an inaugural draft as well.

RHB to left field?

Are there any stats that suggest RHB hit to left or right field more than left field or visa versa - also LHB.

Reason I ask is I'm playing a fictional league - drafted well - 1st, 2nd or 3rd in...

Outfielder Positioning

I see controls to set outfielders shallow, normal or deep but not shift left or right. Is there a way to do this or is it an AI function. I can drag the name plate of the player around the game...

I've been playing OOTP since v5. Always loved it. Playing V9 now -waiting for 10.
Until 9 I have been a lazy" player - set lineups - see results - reset. etc.
In 9 I have found a passion.

I did what you said, I let the computer do entire draft & everything seemed OK except when I go to any team there is no roster. The MLB guys are MIA.

Hello all.
I'm trying to set up a league where I start with all MLB players in 1 big pool
then let the computer do the draft, randomize MLB players into teams.

Can this be done.

Pool all 2008 MLB players and randomize them into a fictional league.

I would like to sign some free agents but when I go to "offer contract" it says that owners have no money & will not approve deal. Is there a setting to change this?

They both extracted as .lg files.

In game messages

Is there a way to slow down the in game messages/stats/hints boxes that appear. I tried setting pbp to slow but that does not seem affect it.
