That is the entire point. He IS NOT supposed to be in fair territory, he is supposed to run in FOUL territory in the running land marked by the white lines.

With the runner tagging up, going full speed could have caused an issue at 2nd. The issue was more with the runner tagging, instead of going half-way.

I agree. I don't mind bat flips and celebration, and I am getting tired of pitchers hitting players because their feelings are hurt, but "let the kids play" shouldn't encompass lack of hustle.

True, but as a Reds fan, I am already watching for the enjoyment of the games and not just to see who the champion is. Even if it not for the top spot, Bundesliga is a great watch.
