What happens to players that have their ratings...

What happens to players that have their ratings updated yearly and it's run past 2k8?
Do they have huge drop offs or does the AI take over and start using random development curves?

I believe all suspensions are intended for regular season games IRL.
Unless its a PED suspension dont know how that's ruled.

Still playing 9 started a historic replay probably 9 months ago starting out 1921 and I'm now into the tail end of the 2001 season so I'll probably play until around 2020 and then start anew with X
