mods for a newbie?

Hey, slowly but steady I get into the ootp world :)

Any mods, which you would recommend to a newbie? I play fictional baseball, 'real' player pics and that stuff is not needed.

Thx for your feedback. I've now subscripted to MLB.TV and I enjoy it...the only thing, which disturbs me is the high-frequency of the commercials - even when you're looking archived games.

There is ESPN access in Germany via cable TV, but the subscription for that package (not standalone available) is 2x the fee of MLB.TV...

I've just started enjoying baseball by watching it on TV and now also wanna try out OOTP11 (just have downloaded the demo).

Could anybody point me to a strategy guide of baseball or similar...
