Cromartie played in Japan in 1985 and are in as a FA,
Ubaldo playes in Mexico in 1985 and pops up in the draft pool for 1987....

His first pro years was in 1988...

If you started in 1992 he might very well be in, but I started earlier so that might be a reason.
