Exclamation Import/Transfer from previous versions - iOS11

I'm closing in on 200 seasons on iOOTP 14 and with the new iOS11 coming out how can I move this league over into 2017 version? I've read about the back up and using iTunes method, but it didn't work...

Can you guys give a little more detail about what the saved game files look like and maybe some more steps on how to do this?

Also I would totally buy this app every year if I could easily copy...
