I think everyone with a modern Apple device...

I think everyone with a modern Apple device should be able to update to iOS 10 (which is recommended by Apple anyway). So I don´t see a problem here. I tested on my iPad 3 (first iPad with Retina)...

Of course you can write anything you want but if people don't read it, we are the bad guys. If a device is not able to run iOS 10, it will most likley not run mlbm 2017 anyway.

iOS 9 runs on some devices without Retina. You can't restrict the use on just some devices, I know it is crazy but that is how Apple works.
