It would be nice if the game kept track of "games played" streaks, so we can see who our Lou Gehrigs and Cal Ripkens are. AFAIK OOTP doesn't really track this.

Along the same lines, I would suggest avoiding 'pure' colors, and for the same reason. It doesn't have to be much, but if you add a touch of red and green to a blue it looks more realistic.
