resolution problems, am I the only one?

Apparently this game MUST be used in a screen resolution of 1024x768 (or whatever)...I can't even install it. My monitor is not capable of that screen resolution, and I even tried another monitor...

On the old website you guys used to update the fighters from time to time, but I don't see that anymore. Is there a place where the fighters' ratings are being updated? Obviously a lot has happened...
