That is not what DIPS says, it says the pitcher has LESS CONTROL THEN OTHER ASPECTS, not that it doesn't exist.

But to say a ball hit equally down the line can be a double as compared to towards the SS and that being an out, the pitcher has no bearing.

THe pitcher then has no bearing on HRs...
