Installed latest update, now my season has disappeared

I'm really sad, I installed the latest update and the season I was playing is gone and I can't get it back. Hugely frustrated.

Loading stops at Check database

I've been playing for a season and a half and I tried to open my game and it 'stops working' at load database. I will be really sad if I lose my game.

Any ideas?

I have all the 'Team control settings' maked for me to make them. Setting lineups, Roster moves, transactions, Minor league management, initiate and react to trades all are marked for me to do.

I got the new patch. I double checked to make sure I've got it checked that I'm the one to make roster moves and lineup changes. I play a game and the game changes my roster and changes my lineups...
