I Played another year of the Oiler dynasty, made a few trades again on the beginning of the season ( see starting roster, mid season traded Werenski for Provorov) and won the cup this time......

What you need to look at is the negotiating...

What you need to look at is the negotiating rating of your opposing GM too.
I always try to upgrade mine after the first season to 20 and it makes trading a little easier.

I agree with you 100%, the trade engine needs improvement same as the contracts engine where young stars don't ask for bridge deals ( this should've been addressed in the last update )
