Auto-Play greyed out?

Hello

Anyone know why my auto-play until selected date is grayed out?

I'm playing a fictional league, no challenge mode. I can select everything else except ... until selected date: xx/xx/xxxx

Create a custom league with teams from different years?

I'm I able to create a custom season using teams from different years? Say I want the 27 Yankees, the 90 A's, and the 2016 Cubs in the same league/season. Is that possible?

Yes... I've had a player where I've played his entire career. Then kept going. The next guy was just bad & I wanted it to end. I had to wait until he was a free agent to retire. :(
