Draft logic on imported save - flawed?

Imported a Jays save from OOTP 22.

My first draft using OOTP 23, the 1st over-all pick was a 30 POT starting pitcher - meanwhile, there were at least 50 players (including many other SP) with 50+...

ARM appears to be a stat based on outfielder...

ARM appears to be a stat based on outfielder assists, as the only guys in my sim who have anything there are guys who play in the OF.

And the FRM stat is a little broken - only the 70+ CA catchers...

batter contact calculations appear to be changed as well, as a few of my guys suffered some contact drops... i'm interested to see how it affects...

Can't run or uninstall game - "Could not copy file hints_*.txt"

I get this message when trying to run the game.

"Could not copy file hints_*.txt to user data folder. Please reinstall Out of the Park Baseball."

Happens if I run it in regular, or run as...

Question about the demo - can't sim past Aug 1st

Is there a reason why I can't sim past August 1st in the demo?

I thought it was a three-week trial of the full version - so if it is, why can't I get past August 1st?
