Question Selling mission players

How do you do this when they are locked? I accomplished the mission, played a season or two, and now want to sell so I can start another mission. How do you do this?

Editable historical transactions

I had Babe Ruth in 1935 and was playing real historical transactions. IRL he retired June 2, but in the game he went on the injured list. Some other historical transactions don't show up, either....

Yep

Actually, the next two games had ridiculous scores (36 runs on 0 hits) and things of that nature. Something must have gone wrong, so I'm scrapping it and starting over.

A Negro League simulation from 1921. A 28-24 game with only two hits total and 88 walks between the two teams. A bad day for algorithms?

Real historical transactions

Has anyone played a season with "real historical transactions" checked? I just started trying this, but didn't check the lineups. I wanted to manage a team exactly as it was comprised that season....

Yeah. Cobb doesn't appear as an available personnel on this. Maybe because he is a jerk. But actually I wonder if somehow their skills or the available positions you have factor into it.
