Click the "actions" drop down and select "set game strategy." Choose "force start at position" and set it to 3rd base. That will make the AI play him at 3rd base so he will gain experience.

I'll be playing as Cincinnati most of the time but will also dabble with Milwaukee. Two totally different styles of rebuild that have their own challenges and advantages.

I did the same! Could have sworn I pre-ordered, went through all my receipts, requested a list from esellerate and realized I hadn't actually pre-ordered. I immediately went and solved that problem.

Pitcher hold ratings play a huge part in SB results. That said, 1-21 is kind of extreme. But it wouldn't surprise me if it was just a fluky streak.
