Auctions in games where the timer goes up with every bid end up droning on and on forever. I like the current system. If this system works for eBay, why shouldn't it work here?

I have also observed some weirdness in the pitching order. While I was away pitchers 4, 5, 1 and 2 pitched. My next pitcher set to pitch was pitcher 1 again, but I caught it before the game started....
