In the hundreds of games I’ve played I can’t remember a single time where a diving outfielder had the ball get by. I’ve also seen 40 rated outfielders make diving catches.

My scout is rated as very good and I allocate plenty to international scouting. Why does he rave about so many finds when the scouting report almost always finds him to have no chance to anything?
