The ME actually has a major effect on tactics.

You could see that in 13 (I think it was 13, hazy memory) when the ME was kind of buggy when the beta was released and it played...

It shouldn't be messed with. It'd really suck if they changed the core game and ended up...

Fair enough. Maybe that comment is a little unfair/inaccurate on my part. After all, there may be a lot of people that feel that way. I guess that's not something I'd really know for sure either.

I completely disagree with you, both on the match engine and on other changes to FM in the last five years. I've played FM/CM every year since 1998 or so....

Shocked at the poll results. I'm second to none in my love for OOTP, and in fact spend far more time modding for OOTP than for FM and far more time hanging out here than at SI, though maybe more time...
