I hate the DH. First thing I did in setting up my 2015 MLB Quickstart was to rid the AL of the DH. I do, as others have mentioned, keep it in my minor leagues for development purposes.

Your bench coach does these things for your MLB team. IRL minor league managers are frequently directed by the parent club as to lineups, etc. So to me this is very realistic.
