I've seen conflicting reports, but I thought AVG was determined by Contact alone, and Avoid K was just added on after. If that's true, I don't care too much how the outs are made.

Anecdotally, this worked for me. I had a lot of deactivated cards. After clearing out 25-30% of the collection, I've gone about a week without this issue re-occurring. Good luck.
