Maybe something similar to how Madden has position battles? Obviously a poor spring training does not mean Kershaw or Trout will not break camp with the Dodgers or Angels, but for borderline players...

Is it still too early to import 2013 seasons? I tried importing Kershaw's 2013 season and he had HORRIBLE ratings. Almost as if to tell me that it is not possible to import historical players seasons...

Is it really a handicap? Is it verified that bringing in a pitcher "cold" affects his performance? If so, are relievers brought in by the computer entering the game automatically warmed up, or "cold?"

If what you say is true then the warmup rule is not realistic; not reflective of how warming up, or the lack of warming up, affects a pitcher; and serves no purpose in the game.
