My iPad Pro has the exact same specs as the ones you listed, and after applying the latest update, mine now works fine. Previously had the problem.

Did that in my tests with the same results. In both cases, the initial MLBM screen initially appears upside down, quickly changes to right side up, and then goes black.

Nope!! I tried all combinations for the orientation and game center that I could think of and none of them worked. I was logged into game center, logged out, and started the game in landscape mode....
