I set up a MLB type league and a smaller independent league. I didn't want the independent league to rival my main league, but rather be a place for a bunch of scrubs and maybe where an aging star...

Glad you guys liked these. I did this on a smaller scale when OOTP 6 came out and probably enjoyed making the logos as much as I did playing the game so I wanted to do it with more teams.

Yes, having the same problem too. Teams don't seem to offer FA's contracts until the first day of the season. I am patched and also using a 6.5 import league so I don't know if that is the issue.

Could somebody confirm that this has been fixed? Basically, prior to the patch you would have no competition signing FA's since the AI teams would only offer contracts the first day of the season....
