No they have never been converted to FOF8.

I guess most people play with fictional players. The ones who wants to play with historical rosters, haven’t been interested in spending the time needed...

If you do it before entering a save, they will automaticly be correct in all future saves.

The rosters and cities are real, the nicknames aren’t. If you change the nicknames before entering a game, all future games will be with the correct team nicknames.

You can change it under options.
