Thank you for your reply. Still can't create a game (neither in 'Normal Start' nor 'Custom Game Start') with challenge mode enabled. It is as if clicking the button is not recognised/doesn't change...

Hey! Thanks for putting so much work into this. The quickstart is superb and letting the houses engage in baseball rather than making each other miserable is nice for a change. :)
