Also the amount of stamina gained each game is different. For example last year it was a flat 20% a day (or so) but now starters will go from 70% to 100% after one day rest. Just is a bit different...

That... Kinda happens if you don't have long relievers. If all of my starters have 80+ stamina I have one. If more than one of my starters have less than 80 stamina then I keep two long relievers.
