This file contains a saved game that is just about to enter the play-offs but will not allow me to "play" anymore. Every time I select an option from the "play" menu, the game crashes.

Well, somehow the crashes with the TRADE screen resolved...I just did everything else possible on the game (moved players, simulated games for a few weeks) and then suddenly it started working again....
