It seems to be team specific; I trade for an SP who has been regularly running 110-120 pitches per outing. He comes to my team...exhausted at 85 pitches.

In previous versions (and until a recent patch) IAFA was a crapshoot - if you invested in scouting, you would hit maybe 1 out of 3 or 4 signings into a significant player.
