Deleting emails in OOTP GO

I am very likely missing something, but I can't see a way to delete emails in the game. I can select all and then am at a loss on how to delete them.

I saw someone post that if you right click on the staring pitcher and go to staff you can lock the pitcher into starter #1-5. Apparently if you do this it will prevent pitchers from starting on back...
