I just joined this league and my experience thus far has been excellent. Any rules in place are simply there to make sure no one plunges the league into chaos causing an exodus of owners.

I do do that, but certain things (like homer rate and k rate, among others) tend to stabilize pretty early in my experience. I like to keep tabs on it.

You should definitely download the 22nd version...

You should definitely download the 22nd version and install it over the version you have, but that will not alter the rosters in your MLB start. For Cobb and other changes, pop into commissioner mode...
