for trade difficulty it can be left on the hardest setting.
even on the hardest setting you could trade your way to a good team pretty quickly so house rules are still needed for a good challenge.

Yes that all makes sense and is very acceptable and seems to be what is happening, you want the AI to make moves and once the game world starts it has to do its own thing and that a pretty complex...

Playing as Mgr with the 3 Batter rule checked i can bring in a reliever to get the third out(one at bat), leave him in for the next inning and take him out after 1 out(after one at bat)
